About Us

Maria is a self-described hopeless romantic who loves dogs, traveling, and happily ever afters. She lives just outside of Philadelphia, where she spends her spare time daydreaming about strong, independent heroines and heroes with hearts of gold who fall in love with them.

Ariadne sent a (poorly-written) short story to Tor Books when she was 12 years old. After receiving their gentle rejection, she spent the next two years practicing timed essays for high school admissions exams. She now writes nonfiction by day and wtfiction by night.
